The Strategic Leadership in Wine and Hospitality Executive Programme equips wine and hospitality professionals and wine enthusiasts with strategic insight, commercial expertise, and financial acumen to drive business growth.
Delivered over four months across four full-immersion weekends at Bayes Business School in partnership with the UK Sommelier Association, it combines business insight, industry expertise and curated wine and gastronomic experiences. Participants will learn to apply business strategy to real challenges, strengthen leadership and investment skills and build a professional network while learning to technically taste and evaluate wine.
The four weekend programme combines workshops, tastings, case studies, and peer learning to explore and address practical challenges in the wine and hospitality sectors. Each weekend includes a curated fine dining experience with premium wines, creating space to network with peers and learn from leading practitioners in a relaxed setting. Participants in this programme will cover four modules:

Our signature, internationally recognised UKSA Certified Sommelier Course is designed for wine enthusiasts and professionals who want to deepen their knowledge and skills in the fascinating world of wine and beverages. No prior wine knowledge or qualifications are required, as the course starts from the basics.
The NEWLY DESIGNED COURSE FORMAT offers flexibility for both wine enthusiasts and industry professionals to achieve their goals. It is structured into three thematic modules, each of which can be taken as a standalone course with a certificate awarded upon completion. Alternatively, the modules can be combined as part of a comprehensive journey towards becoming a Certified Sommelier, with international recognition.
You will embark on an exciting journey covering everything from viticulture, winemaking, beers, spirits, sake, and tea production to wine regions, tasting techniques, food pairing, and service skills. Throughout the three modules of the course, you will taste over 100 wines, along with a selection of beers, spirits, sake, and tea.
